A true piece of Zuni storytelling. This Native American made Zuni kachina dancer inlay bolo tie shows a dancing figure built from hand-cut pieces of red coral, with accents of turquoise and white mother of pearl, set in raised inlay against a polished black onyx background.
The oval sterling silver slide frames the scene with a twisted rope border, rows of silver raindrop beads at the top and bottom, and smooth silver side bars. The back carries the artist's engraved signature (Etsate) and is marked Zuni, NM. The slide rides on a black braided leather cord with silver tips and a hinged bolo clasp.
