The right size matters more for a cowboy hat or a pair of boots than for almost anything else you wear. Use these charts to find your size in US, UK and European sizing before you order. If you can get to our Scottsdale or Tempe store, we'll measure you in person.

How to measure your head
- Wrap a soft tape measure around your head, about a finger's width above your eyebrows and ears.
- Keep the tape level and snug, not tight.
- Measure twice and use the larger number.

European hat sizes are the head measurement in centimetres, so a 58 cm head is an EU size 58.
Tip: If you're between sizes, choose the larger size and use hat sizing inserts for a snug fit. Sizes vary a little between brands, so check the size notes on each product.

How cowboy boots should fit
- Instep: snug across the top of your foot. This is what holds the boot on, since there are no laces.
- Heel: a slight heel slip is normal when the boots are new.
- Ball of the foot: should sit at the widest part of the boot.
- Toes: room to move, whatever the toe shape.

UK and EU conversions are approximate and vary by brand. When in doubt, go by your foot length in centimetres.
Boot widths
- Men: D is medium width, EE is wide.
- Women: B (or M) is medium width, C (or W) is wide.
Tip: Leather boots stretch slightly over time, so a snug fit at first is ideal. Consider half a size up if you plan to wear thicker socks.
