Stetson Boss of the Plains 6X Fur Felt Cowboy Hat – Black
Long before there was a "cowboy hat," there was the Boss of the Plains. John B. Stetson built the first one in the 1860s for riders crossing the open West, and its simple, practical shape set the pattern every western hat since has followed. This black version takes that original silhouette and gives it a darker, sharper edge.
Each hat is crafted by hand in Garland, Texas from 6X quality fur felt, then hand-dyed and hand-distressed so it arrives with a lived-in, vintage character no two hats share. A 4 5/8" cattleman crown and a 4" brim keep the profile classic, while a leather hat band, leather sweatband and satin liner finish it off. Wear it to work cattle, to a concert, or out for the night on Mill Avenue or in Old Town Scottsdale.
